By assuming a suitable underlying accounting qualification, completing two prescribed courses – Australian taxation law and Commercial law - alongside your work experience, you will be eligible to register as a tax agent with the Tax Practitioner’s Board (TPB) and vastly broaden the scope of your professional expertise in a matter of months.

Tax and Super Australia’s subsidiary, TAI Practitioners and Advisers Limited (TAI PAL), provides you with the confidence to practice as a registered tax agent. TAI PAL is a registered tax agent association recognised with the TPB. If you are not a tax agent and would like to offer more services to your firm or clients, becoming an associate member of TAI PAL and registering for the Applied Education units is an essential step.
