2020 Wednesday Melbourne Tax Discussion Group

2020 Wednesday Melbourne Tax Discussion Group

Due to COVID-19, we are cancelling all face-to-face trainings. For discussion group participants, we are running an online session until further notice.

We also welcome new participant to register for the next individual session and join our online discussion group. This is a good opportunity to try it out and see if it suits your needs.

This tax discussion group is a great way to interact with your peers and colleagues. As a group we'll look at the issues; it's a community and a support network you can tap into professionally and socially. It is a forum for Australian tax professionals who recognise the value of sharing tax knowledge and experience with their cohort. This group is hosted on the second Wednesday of each month at the office of Tax and Super Australia in Kew East.

What's new in 2020
As part of our commitment to provide you with the best training materials, we have updated and improved your discussion group notes. Starting February 2020, you will receive a comprehensive set of notes supplemented with tables, charts and diagrams.

The benefits of attending one of our discussion groups:

  • Secure valuable hours of CPD*: Each session runs for two hours. Tax sessions run once a month for 11 months during the year. Sessions are held in the evenings so there's no disruption to your work day.
  • Tax made simple: Our interactive sessions are facilitated by experienced tax professionals who will guide and explain the application of the law clearly and concisely. Questions, debate and engaged conversation are highly encouraged.
  • Catch up with your peers: The sessions are a perfect forum for catching up and networking with your peers.
  • Sound out a client issue: Do you have a worrying client conundrum? The sessions provide an interactive way to discuss and tackle various topics.
